About FUJIFILM X100F:

Fujifilm pioneered a new market segment of premium compact digital cameras in March 2011 with the launch of the FUJIFILM X100, equipped with an APS-C image sensor, high-speed image processing engine, high-performance FUJINON lens and the world’s first Hybrid Viewfinder that can be switched between an optical viewfinder and an electronic viewfinder. In February 2013, the second-generation model in the series, FUJIFILM X100S, was released with a newly-developed sensor and image processing engine. The company updated the series in September 2014 with the launch of the FUJIFILM X100T, boasting the use of the world’s first electronic rangefinder function, in an effort to constantly lead the segment of premium compact digital cameras with cutting-edge technologies.
The fourth-generation release of the series, X100F, features the latest image sensor and high-speed image processing engine to deliver the highest level of image quality and mobility in the series. This is the ultimate in premium compact digital camera, equipped with the Advanced Hybrid Viewfinder of enhanced convenience. While maintaining the elegant design that has proven to be popular, the new camera has been developed in pursuit for easy operability, reflecting requests from users of previous models.

By: http://www.gadgetreview.com/ 04/06/2015

The digital camera market has been in free fall for a while now. “Et tu, smartphone?” has been the last cry of many product lines no longer able to find demand in a world populated by phones with ever-more powerful cameras and photo-syncing capabilities. What’s a cameramaker to do?

What Nikon has done is put more focus on high-end digital cameras with lots of extras that professional and semi-professional photographers will be interested in. Prime example: The Nikon 1 J5 Mirrorless Camera, set to be released at the end of April.

The COOLPIX P900 is equipped with an 83x optical zoom lens that supports super-telephoto shooting at the equivalent of up to 2000 mm*1 (up to 166x*2when Dynamic Fine Zoom is used). The camera defies conventional thinking regarding super-telephoto photography with adoption of a Super ED lens element in a lens that maintains a fast maximum aperture of f/6.5 at the maximum telephoto position, dynamically achieving superior image quality with super-telephoto shooting.

It also offers excellent basic performance with features that include Dual Detect Optical VR, which supports camera shake compensation equivalent to a 5.0-stop*3 increase in shutter speed, and a shooting time lag of approximately 0.12 s*4. The P900 is also equipped with a variety of features that make photography more fun, including an electronic viewfinder with built-in eye sensor, GPS/GLONASS/QZSS support that enables recording of location data with images, and support for NFC, which easily enables Wi-Fi® connection to a smart device*5.
