From their “About” page; Digital Photography Review’s mission is to provide the most authoritative reviews of, the fastest, fullest news reports about, and the most comprehensive database of consumer digital cameras in the world, and to provide an open, active forum and useful tools for its community. Underlying this is our desire to lead our visitors through the maze of specification and hyperbole to the right camera for them, offering not only expert (and user) opinion, but the tools necessary to allow them to reach their own conclusions.

2) Steve’s Digicam http://www.steves-digicams.com Great website for camera reviews, news and information. From their “About” page; Want the short version? We absolutely love writing about digital cameras and photography. It’s just that simple. Founded in 1997, Steve’s Digicams was created by Steve Sanders to share his love and 35 years of experience in photography with the rest of the web. (You can see a screenshot of our classic website design to the right.) We strive to introduce new readers to the world of digital photography and inspire others to do the same. Our reviews are meant for everyone, ranging from first time digital camera users to seasoned photographers.

4) Digital Camera Resource (http://www.dcresource.com) from their “About” page;

The Digital Camera Resource Page was the first of the “big” digital camera sites, founded in November 1997. The DCRP is designed to be a resource for current and future owners of consumer-level (sub-$2000) digital cameras. The mission of this site is to:

1. To provide honest reviews of digital cameras, with no sugar coating. If I think a camera isn’t a good choice, you’ll know it. Reviews are written without a lot of technical jargon, so everyone can understand them. 

The site is published by Jeff Keller and it is on my list of must visit sites when looking for information on cameras, news, buyers guides etc. This is a highly recommended site.

4) What Digital Camera.com What to buy and how to use it.

What Digital Camera is the world’s oldest digital photography magazine and the UK’s biggest-selling guide to digital cameras and accessories.

Packed with authoritative, independent reviews of the latest gear, from DSLRs and compacts, to lenses, flashguns and software.

It also offers impartial buying advice, easy to follow tutorials on getting the best from your camera and inspirational features on photographers’ own gear.

5) The Phoblographer is about photography reviews and tips in practical situations. Plus we cover the latest news in the industry, offer insightful and inspirational features, and lots of useful photography tips.

Expect lots of content for professionals and starters alike.

6) Reviewed.com Cameras Section. As their website states “Reviewed.com Cameras was launched in October of 2011 to bring consumers the most comprehensive, scientific and trustworthy reviews available.”
