Since the start of Photography the camera lens is the most important part of the light focusing process, and it was modeled in part on the Human Eyeball.
SO just for fun and because i wanted to try something crazy, I made an Eyeball camera Lens, just to reverse the process.
The actual lens is a viewfinder piece of an old microscope and it will play the role of the Cornea of the eyeball.

Tamron 15-30: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc…

Nikon 14-24: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search…

CONCLUSION: So to wrap up this review, we have the Sigma 14-24 f/2.8 Art series lens a 49/50 and our editors choice award – it’s tied with the Sigma 135mm f/1.8 Art as the highest scoring lens I’ve used or tested.THE FINAL WORD: If you shoot landscape, real estate or architecture, Sigma has just made the decision of which lens to purchase that much more difficult, you really can’t go wrong with any of the big 3, the 14-24’s from Nikon or Sigma or the aforementioned Tamron 15-30, the Tamron and Sigma come in at identical price points about $700 less than the Nikon – the Sigma is a bit wider and is built a bit better, but the Tamron handle’s flare considerably better and has the added benefit of image stabilization, meaning that in the end, it’s up to you to decide which of those attributes is most important to you when making your buying decision.

Venus Optics Laowa 7.5mm f/2 for M4/3 Review by Darren Miles

GET A GREAT DEAL on the Laowa 7.5mm f/2 Lens from B&H HERE: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc…

CONCLUSION: So to wrap up this review, we give the Venus optics, compact dreamer, lightweight 7.5mm f/2 lens a 35.5/40 and our Recommended Rating.

THE FINAL WORD: More often than not, wide angle lenses suffer from some inherent issues, weak edge performance, distortion, vignetting, and bad flare performance, well, I’m pleased to report that laowa does a great job with distortion control and edge performance, both seem to be really great as the verticals straight out of camera are in fact pretty straight and the edges look really sharp to my eyes, however, the laowa does suffer from strong vignetting – especially wide open and weak flare performance in brightly lit situations, which again aren’t really strong suits for most wide angle lenses, but they are noticeable in the Laowa – but all in, at just $519 the laowa does in fact offer some really nice benefits for this kind of price – specifically, if you’re a drone operator, video shooter and if you do real estate and landscape photography – sure, you only get manual focus and aperture control, but again, when it’s this wide, big scenes are going to be mostly in focus anyway at or close to infinity on the focus ring. In spite of its shortcomings, the pros, definitely outweigh the cons.

Today we will create some Lensbaby tilt shift lenses that cost 30$ and that are actually way better than the original which is ” just” 400$.
Using two soviet vintage Helios lenses and some rubber adapter, you can create some incredibly cool tilt effects for your portraits or landscapes.

Before every one starts to freak out, here are some interesting links for you :

here you can buy the Helios adapter for 10 $, it’s the one i use in the video :
